Bowler announced the Nemesis in 2007 as the Wildcat's replacement. A steel spaceframe with an integral roll cage carried double wishbones at each corner, Twintex composite panels and the Range Rover Sport's lamps and grille, with Jaguar-derived V8s of 4.0 to 4.4 litres or a supercharged 4.2. Four started the 2009 Dakar in Argentina and Chile.
When Land Rover formalised its partnership with Bowler in June 2012, the competition car became the EXR, on a hydroformed Range Rover Sport chassis, and Bowler showed its first road car, the 550 bhp EXR S, at Goodwood at £155,000. The Bulldog succeeded them in 2017.
