Moskvitch built a four-wheel-drive family saloon forty years before anyone called such a thing a crossover: the 410 of 1957–61 and the 411 estate, the 402/407 car raised on its own 2,370 mm wheelbase with 220 mm of clearance, a two-speed rear gearbox and a 33-degree climb, sold to agricultural repair teams. 9,095 in all.
