Renault Trucks Defense bought ACMAT in 2006 and Panhard in 2012, and the three were renamed Arquus on 24 May 2018. The range runs from ACMAT's unarmoured VLRA through the Sherpa Light and the Bastion to Panhard's tiny amphibious VBL and the VAB, of which around 5,000 were built.

Founded as ALM SA at Meaux in 1948, at Saint-Nazaire since 1964, and bought by Renault Trucks Defense in May 2006. Over 12,000 vehicles, in service in 42 nations.
About 2,600 built between 1985 and 2010: three and a half to four tonnes, three crew, fully amphibious at 5.4 km/h.
