Nemesis (2007–12)

Bowler announced the Nemesis in 2007 as the replacement for the Wildcat. It was ready for the 2008 Dakar, which was cancelled, and four Nemeses started the first South American Dakar in January 2009, the Dutch Dakarsport crew best placed of them part-way through the event. The car was loosely based on the Range Rover Sport — evo put the shared content at about 40 per cent — with double wishbones at each corner giving up to 300 mm of travel, a steel spaceframe that incorporates the roll cage, Twintex composite body panels reinforced with carbon fibre and a 415-litre fuel cell.

Engines were Jaguar-derived V8s, 4.0 and 4.4 litres naturally aspirated or 4.2 litres supercharged (450 bhp), with Jaguar diesels also offered, driving through a six-speed H-pattern or sequential gearbox. A road version was at the prototype stage in 2009; the competition car became the EXR in 2012.
