Chubb called the Pursuer a mini version of its 37-ton Pathfinder. It was a good vehicle that almost nobody bought: only two airfield versions reached British customers, both of them cancelled export orders, and Australia’s Department of Air Transport ordered six and cancelled those too.
Oman and Saudi Arabia took some. The Civil Aviation Authority ran one as a training vehicle; another worked at Dounreay and then Barra Airport; and West Sussex bought the one municipal Pursuer, stationed at Crawley for road accidents.
