Textron introduced the 1600XD in February 2011: a two-seat utility vehicle with a 22 hp, 1,007 cc three-cylinder diesel, a continuously variable transmission with high and low ranges, selectable four-wheel drive, a locking rear differential and a 1,600 lb maximum load. A road-registrable European version homologated as a tractor, the 1600XD-R, followed in 2013 and a four-seat 1600XD4 in 2014.
Textron Specialized Vehicles extended the Hauler line to four-wheel drive in October 2018 with the three-seat Hauler 4x4 and the six-seat Hauler 4x4 Crew, each with a 50 hp petrol or 25 hp diesel engine, a 1,500 lb payload and a 2,000 lb towing rating. Two-wheel-drive and electric Cushman vehicles, including the other Haulers and the Truckster, are outside the registry.
