Dangel has converted more than 22,000 Peugeots, Citroëns and Fiats since 1980. Its C15 of 1991 added a part-time driven rear axle engaged electro-pneumatically, with an optional rear differential lock and shorter gearing, and went mainly to administrations and utilities such as EDF and the Post.
The Berlingo and its Peugeot Partner twin followed, and a new four-wheel-drive Partner and Berlingo was shown at the 2008 Paris Motor Show; 5,000 had been built by July 2013. The Jumpy and Jumper are converted in the same way.
