The Thar replaced the Major in 2010 and kept the Willys shape, the ladder frame and the low range; the second generation of 2020 added a modern interior and a petrol engine without giving up the hardware, and became a fashionable vehicle as well as a working one.
The American Roxor is the same idea sold as an off-highway utility vehicle; the ITC ruled against its original body in June 2020 and cleared the redesigned 2021 model that December.
