The Faster was the truck General Motors sold worldwide under its own badges; its four-wheel-drive version of 1979 became the Chevrolet LUV 4x4 and the basis of Isuzu’s wagons.
The D-Max replaced it in 2002 and is now Isuzu’s main product outside Japan: the working pick-up of Thailand, South-East Asia, Africa and Australia, and the first pick-up to take five Euro NCAP stars with its third generation of 2019.
