Bowlers in competition

Bowler built competition cars first and road cars later. The Wildcat took the factory team to the Dakar from 2000, and by 2005 it was the second-largest there after Mitsubishi's; Wildcats also ran in the Rallye des Pharaons and the European bajas. Four Nemeses started the 2009 Dakar in Argentina and Chile, and Bulldogs later ran the Tuareg Rally and the Morocco Desert Challenge.

At home Bowler ran one-make series for Land Rover: the Defender Challenge by Bowler of 2014–16 on the Puma Defender 90, and from 2022 the Bowler Defender Challenge and the Defender Rally Series on the new Defender 90.
