History
Alvis vehicles served the British Army from 1952 to the present day and more than twenty other countries besides: the Saracen in Malaya, Aden and Northern Ireland, the Saladin still on strength in five armies in 2024, the Salamander with the RAF until 1978, the Stalwart until 1993, and the CVR(T) family in the Falklands, the Gulf, Iraq and Afghanistan.
