Guy Motors history
Guy's all-wheel-drive vehicles served the British Army from the late 1920s to the end of the Second World War: six-wheelers for the War Office and the Indian government, Quad-Ant tractors with the Royal Artillery in France, North Africa and Italy, the Guy Armoured Car in France in 1940 and on anti-invasion duty in Britain, and Lizard command vehicles with 7th Armoured Division; Denmark took Quad-Ants after the war.
