Cournil history
Cournils worked on the hill farms of the Massif Central and, after 1965, the Basque Country, for the Hygiene Department, police and customs in the 1960s and for EDF, the police and the forestry and public-works services in the 1980s. French Cournils ran in the Paris–Dakar from 1979. The Portuguese licence-built vehicles are under UMM.
