The team was formed on 17 July 1988 and has won the truck class more often than any other maker. Its trucks are 4×4s with about 1,150 hp and a 1,000-litre tank set over the rear axle for balance.
It did not start the 2023 Dakar, having not signed the documents attached to the 2022 ban on Russian and Belarusian entrants, and has since run the Silk Way Rally nationally and returned to international competition at the 2026 Taklimakan Rally.
