Kamaz-master, formed on 17 July 1988, has won the Dakar truck class nineteen times, six of them consecutively from 2017 to 2022. The team did not start the 2023 Dakar, having not signed the documents attached to the 2022 ban on Russian and Belarusian entrants, and has since run nationally in the Silk Way Rally and returned to international competition at the 2026 Taklimakan Rally.
