A Daily 4x4 chassis cab with a low range and differential locks is what a European mountain fire service buys when a Unimog is too big and a pick-up too small; the same chassis carries forest tenders, crew carriers and civil-protection bodies.

The overland trade uses it for the same reasons — a cab, a diesel and parts across three continents — and the Massif briefly offered Iveco a light 4x4 for fleets before Santana’s collapse ended it.
