UK Special Forces took 65 HMTs under a 2001 contract and the first HMT 400s were in Afghanistan in 2003–04. The Jackal's first action was on 8 April 2008, on Operation Herrick with 16 Air Assault Brigade and the Royal Marines.
Abroad: 47 Marauder variants to United States Delta Force in 2004–05, orders from Denmark, Australia, Norway and New Zealand between 2006 and 2010, and 89 HMT Extenda Mk2s to Australia's 2nd Commando Regiment in 2014. Around 200 ATMPs have gone mainly to Canada, Malaysia, Mexico and Britain.
