The Snow Trac is the small, cheap end of the snowcat world, and that is why it went so many places: seven people and their gear over snow on 40 horsepower.
The Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions ran them, and several survive in museums with Antarctic exhibits. NATO forces and the Royal Marines used them through the Cold War.
