The monotone brown of South African Defence Force armoured vehicles from 1975 to 1994, carried on afterwards by auxiliary (B-class) vehicles such as the SAMIL trucks. BS 381C 450 is the British Standard shade, not a SAMIL or Magirus-Deutz paint code, and no South African standard number for it was found. It is often called Nutria, but Nutria is properly the name of the SADF's brown uniform, and modellers match the vehicle colour to Dark Earth. The hex is an approximation from the name.
