The record

The party abandoned the half-tracks at the junction of the Halfway and Graham rivers between 11 and 13 August and went on by horse, turning back on 28 September. All five were recovered: two stayed in Canada and three returned to France. No. 5 was bought by the Western Development Museum at Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and has been on show since 1974; No. 4 is at the Reynolds-Alberta Museum at Wetaskiwin.
