The first Berlingo was converted during its 1996–2008 run; the four-wheel-drive Partner and Berlingo of the second generation were shown at the 2008 Paris Motor Show and 5,000 had been built by July 2013, when Dangel could make about 3,000 conversions a year at Sentheim from vehicles delivered by the PSA and Fiat plants. French fire brigades use them.
