The Alsace converter founded by Henri Dangel, which has built four-wheel-drive versions of Peugeot, Citroën and Fiat vehicles since 1980 — more than 22,000 in all, beginning with the Peugeot 504 pick-up and break, then the 505 break (more than 5,500) and the Partner, Expert, Boxer and their Citroën and Fiat twins.

History

Dangel built competition cars from the late 1960s and developed its first 4x4 504 with Peugeot’s engineers, showing a prototype in 1978; Peugeot put the conversion in its own range in 1980. The company still converts light commercials at Sentheim and sells a two-wheel-drive Trek with a 200 mm lift.
