The record

The Bundeswehr replaced the Volkswagen Iltis with the Wolf from 1990: the W461 with the OM602 diesel, 24-volt electrics and cabriolet, station and pick-up bodies; the Wolf SSA of 2004 added ballistic protection and the Enok of 2008 (by ACS) mine protection. About 12,000 Wolves were delivered and the second-generation W463 succeeds them.
