The record

The W461 designation dates from 1992 for the professional and military G on the 460’s architecture with the 463’s engines; the Bundeswehr’s Wolf (1990–), the Swiss Army’s Puch G, Norway’s Multi, Canada’s G-Wagen of 2003, and the Australian Army’s 2,146 G-Wagons of 2012–15 including a Graz-built 6x6 were W461s. The G 300 CDI Professional of 2010–16 was the civilian working version; production ended in 2022 when the second-generation W463 took the military role.
