History
Chevrolet sold NAPCO’s four-wheel-drive conversion through its dealers from 1955 and built its own from 1960 with the K prefix; the K5 Blazer of 1969, the S-10 of 1983 and the Silverado of 1999 followed, and the CUCV programme of 1983–87 put 70,000 into the US forces. Its crossovers and two-wheel-drive trucks are outside the registry.
