Kégresse P7 T and P7 bis (10 HP B12, 1925–28)

The first Citroën half-track with a positive drive, the track bogie turned end for end and sprung on leaf springs, on the 10 HP B12 with the same 1,452 cc four. Accepted on 3 November 1925, it became the P7 bis in 1927 with the metal-and-rubber track driven by sprocket teeth that the later types kept.

The record

Sold at first only for military and farm use, the P7 T was offered by 1926 as an ambulance and a barge tractor and by 1927 with an automatic hitch, trailers and a lawn mower. The P7 bis won its class at the army’s light-tractor trials at Satory and Verrières in 1927, and a P7 took tourists along the beach at Deauville from 1926.
