Kégresse P19 (C6, 1929–)

The fast six-cylinder half-track: a C6 with its 2,442 cc six and a two-speed reduction at each end of the rear axle, accepted on 12 July 1929 and developed as the P19 A, B, BT, C and D. About 600 were built.

The record

The French Army used it as an all-terrain liaison car, a scout car, a machine-gun carrier and an engineers’ and gun carrier; Belgium bought it as a command car in 1931 and Poland as a staff car. The Reichspost ran at least two P19 postal buses. Captured P19s became the German Transportkraftwagen Ci 380 (f).
