Kégresse P14 tractor (C6, 1930–40)

The heavy Citroën-Kégresse tractor: a 2,650 cc C6 six, a two-speed reduction ahead of the axle and a 300 mm metal-and-rubber track driven film-sprocket fashion, weighing 2,800 kg as a bare chassis. It was accepted on 4 April 1930 and developed as the P14 A and P14 B.

The record

Rated to tow 15 to 4 tonnes on the road according to the gradient, it was the only tractor of its class to win a prize at the 1930 army trials. French artillery used about sixty as tractors and light lorries; Belgium adopted it in 1931 and built it under licence at FN, and Poland bought it with the P17 and P19. The radio car of the Croisière Jaune’s Pamir group was a P14. Captured examples became the Zugkraftwagen Ci 306 (f).
