The record

Versions included an ambulance with six stretchers and a thirteen-seat Grand Confort with air conditioning. The bus carried journalists on the Paris–Dakar, served police forces, went to the Gulf in 1991 on Opération Daguet, and a fire service in the Dordogne used one as a command post. Wikipedia gives 28 seats on the short chassis and 34 on the long.
