The ALTV (Acmat Light Tactical Vehicle, in French the AVTL) came in 2008–09 as the first military pick-up made in France. From 2009 to 2014 a thousand were built for twenty countries — Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad (20), Congo (14), Côte d'Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea (48), Gabon, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger and Togo (44) among them. Production ran until 2019; the Trigger, on the VT4, succeeded it.
