Designed by Brooks Stevens, the Forward Control put a cab over the front axle of a CJ-5 or CJ-6 chassis for a long load bed on a short vehicle. Military M676–M679 versions were built for the US Navy and Marine Corps. Sales were modest and the range ended in 1965.
