The record
The 1982 cars introduced the 2.5-litre Indenor diesel of 76 PS, and MOCAR UMM Competição was formed as the competition department. Two of the 1983 cars had a 2.7-litre PRV V6 on triple carburettors, 160 PS, and lighter 1 mm bodywork; for 1984 these took a fuel-injected 3.0-litre PRV V6 prepared by Danielson, 204 PS. In 1985 a team led by Gérard Henon entered two Alters with 2.2-litre Peugeot petrol engines and a Cournil for assistance; none finished. Dakardantan lists the 1982 crews as Megre and Romão, Cortez and Miranda, and Amado and Villas Boas.
