The long-wheelbase Cournil as UMM first sold it, launched in Portugal in 1977 and built there from 1979 — the most common of the three versions and, from 1980, the only one.

The record

UMM bought the licence for the long Cournil and the rights to sell it outside France in 1977. The first vehicles carried their designer’s name as the UMM 4x4 Cournil; in 1979 only Entrepreneurs were registered.
