The record

The GOST renumbering of 1985 made the 469 the 3151 (military) and 31512 (civilian); the 31514 of 1993 added a steel hard top and the 31519 of 1997 the larger engine and disc brakes. The 3151 series served the Russian and CIS armies in the Chechen wars and was licence-assembled in Ukraine at Lutsk (1999–2004) and Kremenchuk (2004–14) and in Germany at Bad Nauheim (2003–07).
