Toyota built a Trail Teams edition every year from 2008 (Voodoo Blue) to 2014, each in a colour used once — Sandstorm, Army Green, Radiant Red, Cement, Trail Teams Blue — with the TRD off-road package as standard; about 2,500 to 3,500 a year. The 2014 Ultimate Edition (2,500 in Heritage Blue with a white grille) closed North American sales.
