Dodge’s styled four-wheel drives: the W100, W200 and W300 of 1957 on the Sweptline and later bodies, the 1972 redesign with the NP203 transfer case, and the Ram W150, W250 and W350 of 1981–93 with the Cummins 5.9-litre turbo-diesel from 1989 — the trucks that made Dodge the diesel pick-up of American farms and towing.

The record
The W-series gave Dodge a modern four-wheel-drive pick-up alongside the old Power Wagon; the 1972 trucks lasted twenty-one years, took the Ram name in 1981 and, with the Cummins of 1989, found the market that saved the line before the 1994 redesign. The W prefix meant four-wheel drive, the D two-wheel.
Catalogue fields describe the vehicle's structure and body as this registry records it. They are not certified factory measurements, and no performance figures are published here.
