The record

Kaiser Jeep loaded the Wagoneer for 1966 with the four-barrel AMC-built 327 V8, a Turbo Hydra-Matic, tilt wheel, power everything, a seven-way seat, a Nomad three-tone paint scheme with a vinyl-covered roof and chrome roof rack. About 1,500 were built before the Buick 350 replaced the 327 in 1968; it is regarded as the ancestor of the luxury SUV.
