Kaiser Jeep built 600 Renegade Is in 1970 and 600 Renegade IIs in 1971 for the Baja 500 image: the 160 hp Dauntless V6, 8-inch wheels, a roll bar and a swing-away spare in Mint Green, Wild Plum or Big Bad Orange. AMC made the Renegade a regular package from 1972 with the 304 V8, Trac-Lok differential, alloy wheels and the striped bonnet; it ran to the end of the CJ-5 in 1983.
