The record

The Navy ordered a diesel Forward Control family in 1964: the M676 pick-up, M677 crew-cab pick-up, M678 carryall van and M679 ambulance, all on the FC-170 DRW chassis with the 170 cu in Cerlist diesel, 24-volt electrics and military lighting. Only about 400 were built before the FC ended in 1965.
