The Swiss luxury Scout: Peter Monteverdi’s Safari of 1976–82, a Scout II rebodied at Basel by Fissore with a new steel body, leather, air conditioning and the 345 or 440 V8, sold in Europe and the Gulf against the Range Rover; the Sahara was the cheaper version with the Scout body.
