Where to find it

The identification plate on the driver’s door pillar (model, serial, gross weight); the line-setting ticket in the glove box, under the seat or in the dash; the serial stamped on the frame rail.

How to read it

1961–1980Model code + serial: The plate carries the model code and a serial; the line-setting ticket (LST) records the model, serial, date, engine, axles, transfer case, colour code and every option code. International’s records survive with the Wisconsin Historical Society, which supplies LST copies by serial.
