The record
A militarised Duster Army was shown at the 1 December 2014 national-day parade. The ministry then bought standard Dusters through the national fleet-renewal (Rabla) scheme, about 78 million lei in all. The batch of 74 received on 15 December 2021 were all 4×4s with the 1.5 diesel of 115 hp, painted in a mosaic camouflage by an industrial process Dacia described as a first; 62 went to the 122nd Logistics Brigade 'Muntenia' and 12 to the 84th Maintenance and Reception Centre of the Land Forces staff. The military adaptation Renault Romania proposed added underbody protection for the engine, gearbox, tank and rear differential, a removable winch, air-transport lashing points, 12 V and 24 V outlets and blackout lighting.
