Tančík vz. 33 (Czechoslovakia)

Czechoslovakia's development of the Carden-Loyd Mark VI: the army bought three Carden-Loyds and a production licence in 1930, ČKD built four copies as prototypes that year, and 70 production vehicles were ordered on 19 April 1933 and delivered by October 1934.

The record

The prototypes were tested through 1931 and 1932 and changed along the way — better vision ports, internal ammunition stowage and thicker armour — before the type was accepted on 17 October 1933. It had a Praga four-cylinder water-cooled engine of 30 hp in place of the Ford.
