The record

Accepted into service on 13 February 1931, the T-27 weighed 2.7 tonnes, carried a 7.62 mm DT machine gun and ran at 42 km/h on a 40 hp GAZ-AA engine. It was used mainly for reconnaissance, in 65 tankette battalions of about 50 vehicles each, later cut to 23. Its narrow tracks coped poorly with swamp and snow. Hungary and Romania captured some and Turkey ordered five.
