The record
The Patriot replaced the Simbir in August 2005 as UAZ’s answer to the imported SUV: the Simbir’s frame and coil-sprung solid axles under a longer five-door body with a modern interior; the 2012 restyling brought a new dashboard, the 2014 facelift new lamps and bumpers, the 2016 update ESP and a rear locker option. The Russian Army ordered 1,500 in 2023; police, forestry and utility fleets run it across Russia.
Catalogue fields describe the vehicle's structure and body as this registry records it. They are not certified factory measurements, and no performance figures are published here.
