The record

UAZ, which had assembled the GAZ-69 since 1954, put a cab-over body on its chassis in 1958: the 450 van, 450A ambulance and 450D pick-up, with the GAZ-69’s 2.4-litre four and gearbox and a 2,300 mm wheelbase. The two-wheel-drive 451 followed. The redesigned 452 of 1965 replaced it.
