The record

Toyota separated the wagon from the 40 Series in 1967 with the 55 Series, a longer chassis with a five-seat, four-door body sold mainly in North America and Australia. It kept the 40's driveline (F, then 2F from 1975; H diesel for some markets) and leaf springs. The 60 Series wagon replaced it in 1980.
