Textron announced the Cushman 1600XD 4x4 at Augusta in February 2011, when Cushman was a brand of its E-Z-GO division, and the four-seat 1600XD4 in 2014. Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. launched the Hauler 4x4 and Hauler 4x4 Crew from Augusta in October 2018. The plant that builds the vehicles is not named in the releases.
