History

AutoAlliance Thailand opened at Rayong in 1998 to build the Mazda-based Ranger and Courier and from 2003 the Everest; Ford Thailand Manufacturing next door has built the T6 Ranger since 2012 and the Everest since 2015, and Ford took full control of AutoAlliance in 2019. Rayong is the largest source of Rangers and Everests.
