History

Daihatsu built the Taft for farmers, foresters and export and the Rugger and Rocky for the world markets of the 1980s and 1990s; its 4x4 line ended in 2002 as the Terios crossover took over. Astra Daihatsu in Indonesia built the Taft to 2007.
